{"id":3272,"date":"2019-06-04T10:15:47","date_gmt":"2019-06-04T08:15:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.riscreen.de\/?p=3272"},"modified":"2023-03-01T10:02:09","modified_gmt":"2023-03-01T09:02:09","slug":"videoidentifizierung","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/riscreen.de\/en\/videoidentifizierung\/","title":{"rendered":"Video identification"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>In <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lda.bayern.de\/media\/baylda_report_08.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Chapter 10.2 &#8220;Video identification and ID copies&#8221;<\/a> on page 67 of the activity report, the BayLDA points out that remote identification of persons can be carried out by means of online transmission.<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"remote-identification-a-good-alternative\">Remote identification &#8211; a good alternative?<\/h2>\n\n\n<p>The PostIdent procedure and also other identification procedures with a media break have the disadvantage of a time delay and create problems for people with limited mobility. A media break is described as a change of medium within a processing procedure. Similarly, the use of the &#8220;electronic ID card&#8221; for online identification is not yet widespread in practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Due to the lack of practicability of these options, BaFin has designed a procedure for online video identification.
